Learning Collaborative: SUD/OUD Part II
April 24 @ 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Join us for an insightful webinar focused on SUD/OUD Part II, where we will explore further how knowledge around SUD/OUD can further support clients with co-occurring conditions.
1. Understand basics of substance use disorders (SUD), which term includes a variety of drugs with addictive potential, and opioid use disorder (OUD), which refers only to this class of drugs.
2. Describe how and why cannabis and methamphetamine can detrimentally affect individuals’ health, mental health, and prospects for recovery from addiction and related outcomes.
3. Explain harm reduction (HR) approaches, distinguish the various strategies and which ones they may be able to use – either as individuals/community members, and/or as an agency.
4. Evaluate if partnerships with other organizations may be able to support clients with co-occurring conditions.
Attendance is required for two members of grantee organizations.
